Business Model
Rooftop solar under the PPA model — businesses use clean energy without upfront system investment.
Explore the ProcessWhat is PPA?
A PPA is a long-term power purchase agreement where DNE invests in and operates the system, while the customer buys electricity based on consumption.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and how does it work?
A PPA is a financial arrangement where DNE installs solar panels on your rooftop at no cost. You simply purchase the electricity generated at a rate lower than the grid price. DNE owns and maintains the system throughout the contract.
Is my rooftop suitable for solar panel installation?
Most industrial and commercial roofs are. We look for at least 1,000 m² of usable area, a structure with remaining load capacity, and daytime electricity consumption. Our survey team confirms all three with a drone scan and a structural check before any proposal is issued.
What happens if the solar system produces more energy than we consume?
Systems are sized against your measured load profile so that virtually all generation is consumed on site. Where a small surplus occurs, the inverters limit export in line with current EVN regulations, and the design is adjusted at the next annual review.
What is the typical contract duration for a PPA?
Between 15 and 25 years, matched to the equipment warranty. At the end of the term you may extend the agreement, ask DNE to remove the system, or take ownership of it at the agreed residual value.
Who is responsible for maintenance and repairs of the solar system?
DNE is, for the whole contract term. That covers remote monitoring, scheduled cleaning, preventive inspection, and the replacement of any failed component — at no cost to you.
